Hi.
I have tried to find some information regarding updating of multiple J-Series devices running Junos-ES in NSM, but have come up short.
I am looking for numbers regarding the amount of routers i can select to get updated with, say a policy-change(or any change for that matter)simultaniously. If i have 200 routers, can i select them all and let NSM do its work ?
Does it create a list of seleceted devices and go throught one and one, or does it "broadcast" updates to all devices simultaniously.
Thanks

Hi,
IIRC NSM will udpate a max of 8 devices at a time and then begin on the next ones when they are finished, I can't find the docs on this right now, but I am sure that we will not open connections to all the devices at once.
Maybe somebody else internal will answer!

Hi.
Thanks for the reply. I agree having NSM opening connections to a whole fleet of devices simultaniously will most likely end in disaster. But 8 at once i can live with ![]()
