  • 1.  Will NSM run on top of RedHat 6?

    Hello team:

    According to NSM Release 2010.3 installation guide, "...Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) ES/AS 4.0 or ES/AS 5.0 (Minimal and Full Install)...".

    Question: ¿Will it run on top of RedHat Enterprise 6?

     

    Any comments/hints will be greatly appreciated

    The short answer is: No. Certainly it is not supported on RH 6, and that's really the key point. You can experiment and see whether it'll run on RH 6 - my money's on "probably yes, as long as you handle OS packages manually" - but you end up with an unsupported configuration. What good does that do?

    I tried installing on RedHat 6 and the installation does not work.
