Hi Rommel,
the NSM client uses his own JRE so it can't be a compatibilty issue or any interference with the local installed JRE ![]()
What NSM version are you running and what is the error message?
Watch out that since 2008.2r1 the NSM client port has been changed from TCP/7801 to TCP/7808 for FIPS compliancy so you may need to adjust your IPtablesrules!
Ciao!

Hi Rommel,
I suggest you to try the following in this order:
1. check on the NSM server if you see the connection established:
netstat -antup | grep <client IP>
2. check the NSM logs to confirm that the GuiSvr can see the client access:
tail /var/netscreen/GuiSvr/errorLog/guiDaemon.0
3. install again the NSM GUI client in a different directory
Ciao

If you see that it is still stuck in the processing stage, you can try this..
Remove the folder c:\Documents and Settings\<your login name>\.nsm (this directory has a dot prefix)
Once that directory is removed, try to login again.
