Hi
Has anybody tried creating an SSH tunnel as a means of accessing the NSM via the gui client, i have an issue whereby the the manageIP of the NSMx is not remotely accessible but that the secondary interface is, what i would like to do is ssh tunnel via this interface to the management IP. alternatively if theree is a mechanism to add additional management IP addresses to the NSMx that would save me a whole load of work
any suggestions greatly appreciated, I am running 2008.2r1, ive added the following ports to my tunnel, 7800,7801,7802,7803 and 7808 but doesnt seem to work, would i need to add additional routing configuration to the nsmx to enable routing between the interfaces?
cheers steve

Steve,
You can add a MIP for the GUI Server & access it from the public network.
You can define that on the firewall to redirect traffic from the MIP to the internal address.
Thanks,

Hi Chandra
Unfortunately I cant do that as the access to the nsm is via an Out of band management vlan not protected by the firewall
