The Juniper Networks Sales Associate Firewall (JNSA-FWV) track is designed for Sales and Support Engineers and is made up of three modules: SRX Services Gateways for the Branch Sales Overview, SRX Services Gateways for the High End Sales Overview and vGW Virtual Gateway Overview.

After viewing the modules, the successful student will understand and be able to present Juniper Networks' history of leadership in the firewall market, recognize selling opportunities, and describe Juniper Networks' layered security approach to addressing customer needs. The structure of the track is to give the Sales Associate the ability to speak knowledgeably and persuasively about the solution with prospective customers.

The Juniper Networks Sales Associate IDP (JNSA-IDP) track is designed for Sales and Support Engineers and is made up of 2 modules: Juniper Intrusion Detection and Prevention Sales Overview Part 1 and Part 2.

This course focuses on the Juniper Networks Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) line of products for enterprises and service providers. Also known as IPS, or Intrusion Prevention Systems, these networking and security products use industry recognized stateful detection and prevention techniques to provide protection against a number of mechanisms such as worms, trojans, spyware, keyloggers, and other malware.

You will also be shown many examples of how to ease adoption of Junos OS.

This course has a three-part practical lab component using Juniper Networks’ Virtual Lab environment.

  • Jeremy Behrle Vice President, Technology, WW Partners Jeremy Behrle, Vice President, Technology - WW Partners, is responsible for technical partnering strategy, planning, development, coverage, and delivery. He brings over 21 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industry. Jeremy joined Juniper Networks in 1998 as a Consulting Engineer and is responsible for Juniper's first production deployments of Juniper M40 and M160 Internet Backbone Routers. Additionally, he was responsible for the certification and first production deployments of IP over a trans-oceanic STM-16c and IP over an OC-192c. During his tenure at Juniper, Jeremy has led teams of Systems Engineers supporting: major Service Provider, Enterprise / Financial, MSO, and R&E customers; additionally: Global Strategic, Managed Services, and WW Partners. While involved with Global Partners, he was responsible for initiating and driving Juniper into the mobility sector via partnerships.
