We will reference portions of his 100+ page Design Guide, which is complete with command lines. This course will start with a review of Juniper’s Validated Design process. We will then focus on how to deploy Juniper’s switching, wireless and security products together to provide an easy to manage, resilient and highly available network infrastructure for small and large campus network environments.

This 2-day course provides students with foundational routing knowledge and configuration examples and includes an overview of general routing concepts, routing policy and firewall filters, and class of service (CoS). The course also includes an overview of protocol-independent routing features, load balancing and filter-based forwarding, OSPF, BGP and IP tunneling.. This course is based on Junos operating system Release 10.4. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and monitoring device operations.

Through the Unified Communications and Rich Media use case, we will explore how EX Series switches help drive performance at scale and resiliency on a Simply Connected Network. Technologies will cover the EX8200 four-member Virtual Chassis, the EX3300 with Virtual Chassis, the EX2200-C compact form-factor switch, and latest EX Series switching innovations.
