  • 1.  Are the optics of the MX platform different to the ones used in EX/SRX?

    Hello team:

    According to the price list, the EX and SRX platforms share the same part numbers for plugable optics (SFP, SFP+, XFP).

    But the part numbers are different in the MX with respect to the EX/SRX platforms. Example with 10GE LR:

    • EX platform and SRX platform: EX-SFP-10GE-LR
    • MX platform: SFPP-10GE-LR

    ¿Are not the optics the same for the three platforms?

    Probably there the same, but when you need support from jtac you might have problems when other then MX optics are used in a MX.
