    Hello ,

This error can be caused due to cable issue , far end system or PIC issue . Please check these and see if there is any fault .

    Hello ,

If they have a faulty PIC , that can also cause CRC errors .

Thank you. To determine if issue is with local interface/card can I use soft or hard loop on the interface to check?

    Hello ,

Yes , thats one way of doing this , Else if you have a spare interface , try replacing it and then check its same case so that we can determine if it our end issue ( This is in case of ethernet ) .

    Hi joses,
If we show on the local device and see CRC Errors in an interface increases continuously.
The line has good quality, can I confirm the far end has a problem.

As I show interface extensive, I see CRC Errors appear in both Input and Output direction:

    Input errors:
    Errors: 429472865, Drops: 0, Framing errors: 429472865, Runts: 0, Policed discards: 0, L3 incompletes: 0, L2 channel errors: 0,
L2 mismatch timeouts: 0, FIFO errors: 0, Resource errors: 0
    Output errors:
Carrier transitions: 949, Errors: 0, Drops: 0, Collisions: 0, Aged packets: 0, FIFO errors: 0, HS link CRC errors: 0, MTU errors: 0,
    Resource errors: 0

    CRC/Align errors 429472865 0

If CRC increases in Input direction --> check far end.
If CRC increases in Output direction --> check local.

    Please help me clarify.
    Thank you.
