ERX and remote shell support

Hi all,

Does anyone knows if E-series routers support remote shell access. We have a customer that wants rsh access to ERX like they access to Cisco. Configuration on Cisco router is:

ip rcmd rsh-enable

ip rcmd remote-host test xxx.yyy.zzz.www test enable

Hi Natasa,

I don't think so.  I believe that telnet and ssh are the only options for accessing the CLI on the E series (and all products running JUNOS, too).

Hi there, there is no RSH function on JUNOSe. RSH is quite scary from a security perspective, and should really be avoided.
