  • 1.  Encapsulation for the interfaces in Layer 3 VPN

    Hello Experts,

     

    I would like to know what type of encapsulation has to be applied on the PE for the interfaces communicate to:

     

    1. CE

    2. Other PE nodes as members of the MPLS ring? Is it flexible-ethernet-services???

     

    I've a MPLS ring based on 3 MX-240 nodes running Junos 10.3, but it is planned to upgrade to 11.1.

    Hi Vincent,

    I think any encapsulation should be supported for L3VPN case except CCC/TCC.
