IPv6 routes not shared between VRF's

Hi All,

I have 2 MX routers running MPLS to transport VRF information and routes. This works great for IPv4. Any route learned in HOSTING-VRF on router A is automatically propogated to the HOSTING-VRF on router B.

I cannot get this to work for IPv6. No routes are propogated at all.

Configuration of router A. The same on router B:

user@router-a-re0> show configuration protocols bgp group internal-v4
type internal;
local-address 1.1.1.3;
family inet-vpn {
unicast;
}
family inet6-vpn {
unicast;
}
family evpn {
signaling;
}
peer-as 1234;
local-as 1234;
neighbor 1.1.1.2;

----------------------------------

user@router-a-re0> show configuration routing-instances HOSTING-VRF
instance-type vrf;
interface irb.552;
interface irb.829;
vrf-import HOSTING-VRF-IMPORT;
vrf-export HOSTING-VRF-EXPORT;
vrf-table-label;
routing-options {
rib HOSTING-VRF.inet.0 {
static {
route 0.0.0.0/0 next-table OUTSIDE-VRF.inet.0;
}
}
rib HOSTING-VRF.inet6.0 {
static {
route ::/0 next-table OUTSIDE-VRF.inet6.0;
}
}
auto-export;
}

----------------------------------

user@router-a-re0> show configuration policy-options policy-statement HOSTING-VRF-IMPORT
term HOSTING-VRF {
from community HOSTING-VRF;
then accept;
}

user@router-a-re0> show configuration policy-options policy-statement HOSTING-VRF-EXPORT
term HOSTING-VRF {
then {
community add HOSTING-VRF;
accept;
}

This works fine for table HOSTING-VRF.inet.0. The Next-Table route on router A is also visible on router B but nothing from HOSTING-VRF.inet6.0 is bieng shared.

I am feeling like i missing something very simple but cannot put my finger on it.

Found the issue. I forgot;

set protocols mpls ipv6-tunneling

Hi,

Do you have BGP next-hops active in inet6.3?

Cheers,
