  • 1.  LSQ interface device not found error

    Juniper M10i running JUNOS 10.0 r 1.8

     

    MS pic with layer-3 services package.

     

    VPN established using sp-x/x/x interface units. (next-hop-style)

     

    now while changing the ms pic to layer-2 service package receives an error stating can't configure units under sp-1/0/0 without rpm cinfigured.

     

    i need layer-2 becasure without it lsq cant be configured.

     

    kindly reply asap as this is little critical.

    Hi,

    Are you saying that you are trying to get an LSQ interface and the layer-3 package at the same time?  If you need them both at the same time in an M10i, then you will need 2 service PICs.
