  • 1.  Load balacing trafic on M10i Routers

    Hi Support,

I have two router connected to 2 WAN links. I want trafic be shared simultaneously on the both links.

    How can i don it?

Actually, i have VRRP configured on my routers, but only one router is carrying trafic.

Is GLBP for Cisco equivalent on Juniper?

    Many thanks in Advance

Can you please attach a simple drawing of your topology?

As you have seen VRRP is equivalent to HSRP in Cisco and is an industry standard protocol.

Juniper does not have any load balancing features or equivalent to GLBP.

You could acheive some results by using ECMP in a routing design.

Or you could use Filter based forwarding features.  But FBF is a different approach to the issue.  These are routing based filters that send traffic out different paths based on criteria you setup.

    Hi,

if your connection is using BGP then you can using load-balance per-packet

but if you're using VRRP then it'll be active-standby mode in the router so will only 1 router carrying the traffic.
