    Hi All,

We have two Juniper MX80's with numerous links off to other MXs. We also have a 1GE link from each of the two MX to a Ericsson Smartedge Router. When we perform a commit on either of the MX80s we see LDP drop.

Jul 28 00:39:43 MX-01 rpd[1457]: RPD_LDP_SESSIONDOWN: LDP session 10.2.1.72 is down, reason: received unexpected EOF
    Jul 28 00:39:44 MX-01 rpd[1457]: RPD_LDP_SESSIONUP: LDP session 10.2.1.72 is up

LDP does not drop on any MX-to-MX session, only to the Ericsson Smartedge Router. There's next to no info on the smartedge which we can use for troubleshooting.

Has anyone seen this before, or can suggest any changes which may prevent the drop?

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

HI , to find reason of this behavior you should enable debug on Erricson router to find reason why it is close tcp session.

I managed to resolved this issue.

On the Smartedge I added the command "ignore config-seq-num" under the "router ldp" configuration heading.
