  • 1.  Port mirroring from one 10G interface to another

    Hi,

    we are thinking about configuring a port mirroring session on a MX-480 box running 10.4R4.5; we are a bit concerned about the cpu load caused by this configuration, and the consequent impact on the performances of the router.

     

    Do you have any advice, or any best practice to suggest regarding this matter?

    Hello there,

    No need to worry, RE CPU and PFE CPU do _NOT_ participate in forwarding port-mirrored packets on MX kit.

    Does the T1600 router  support the link bound with two xe interface ?
