    Hi,

    I have juniper acx1000 working as boundary slave and master.

    GM -> juniper slave port

    juniper master port -> slave client

    For ~5min juniper sends sync messages but then stops sending them. Delay_req and Resp messages are still exchanged as they should.

    Command: show ptp master detail shows in the beginning that Sig State: Ann + Sync. But after the Sync messages stop Sig State: is showing only Ann. Slave client is still Freq and Phase locked (working). Is it expected that juniper stops sending Sync messages or do I miss something here?

    If there is no "fast" answer I'm more than happy to provide full configuration and topology info etc...

    BR!

    Hi,

    This "issue" was caused somewhat by unicast negotiation. By configuring ACX slave client by adding manual parameter at the end, sync messages are now flowing correctly.

    Stil don't have 100% idea if its inteded behavior to stop sending sync messages (couldn't find anything about it). Relating to this I believe so if unicast negotiation is on. This may still depend on some other factors also.
