Hi,

We purchased S-MX104-UPG-2X10G license to activate two ports in MX104 box. We received a document mentioning a S/N.

Anyone knows the process to install the license to this box? Do we need an auth code?

S/N which recieved, not a license code so it is not acceped on "licesese add terminal"

Yes, you need a proper license code - at least if you are running JUNOS 13.3 or later.

 You should get your license via email from your reseller.  You can either contact the reseller directly or open an "Admin Service case" on the support site.

Hi,

It looks like you have the 14 digit software serial number.

I guess you might have sorted this already but you can generate a license key using the License Management System at https://www.juniper.net/generate_license/

Select "Manage Product Licenses - Generate License Keys" and follow the steps and enter the software serial number that has been sent over to you already. You can then add the key with "request system license add terminal"
