SFP-1GE-LX on MX960 problem

Hello everyone,

I have an MX960 router, with MIC-3D-20GE-SFP installed in it. MIC is equiped with 20 pcs SFP-1GE-LX. The problem that happens is when the optical patch cord is disconnected from a fully functional link (between MX960 and EX8208), and than returned back, the link stays down. I tried everything - changed the patch cord (although the old one worked), deactivated and activated again the interface, changed SFP with another one, but link stubbornly stays down.

On the other side of the link is, as I previously said, EX8208 and EX-SFP-1GE-LX.

Any help would be appreciated!

Dusan,

Did you check any dampening feature on interfaces?

Like.. hold-time...

Try looping it and check it will come up or not.

Re: SFP-1GE-LX on MX960 problem

Guys, appreciate your help.

The problem has been solved by entering set gigether-options no-auto-negotiation command on interface.

Thanks again for your help!
