We have a M7I on our network and monitor it with Solarwinds Orion. On one of the routers SP-1/2/0 and LSQ-1/2/0 bounce about every 15 min. Im a little confused at what these logical interfaces do as they were not configured, but does anyone have any ideas of why they might have started going up and down suddenly?

Hi Keeton, these are logical interfaces.
The sp is a service interface, if you have a service card, like a Multi Service Pic, then you will have to configure this interfaces if you want to use nat services for example.
The LSQ, is a link services interfaces, when you use fractional t1 or e1 you have to bundle the physical interface to a lsp interface.
There are automatically created when enabling some features, look :
When you enable the Layer 2 service
package, the following interfaces are automatically created:
Look to the following link about sp and lsq configuration. If you dont remember to have configured this, maybe these are an old configuration. If you want to see its dependencies, then do the following, show configuration | display set | match "sp|lsq", this will show where you have this configured.
Also, if this bounce, maybe you have a physical problem with your services card, this may be reloading. Check with the commands show interface redundancy, and show chassis alarms, and even the event log if you have alarms about slot 1 card.
If you want to say thanks, the word is Kudos!!.
