Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've been working only with Cisco in the past.

I'm trying to lab a simple L3VPN setup, but having problems of routes inside the VRF being hidden due to unusable next-hops.

    CE1-- PE1 -- P Routers --PE2 -- CE2

Can anyone advise me as to how the next-hop(which I believe would be the distant end PE router's loopback address would be known inside the VRF)?

Configs and show routes are attached.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Before attempting any MPLS/L2VPN/L3VPN stuff on SRX, You need to put it in packet mode first:

    https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos11.4/topics/example/mpls-security-enabling-cli.html

set security forwarding-options family mpls mode packet-based

     - and reboot the box.

    HTH

    Thanks

    Alex
