any equivalent to Cisco's advertise-map <> non-exist-map <>

Hi,

I've got 2 x J4350 running BGP to two separate ISPs. the ISPs are primary and secondary (no load sharing). THe secondary router watches for a route from the primary ISP and if present will not advertise our network to the secondary ISP. When the watched route disappaers the secondary router will advertise our networks to the sec. ISP.

In Cisco this is configured with the neighbor <> advertise-map <> non-exist-map

If read through the routing policy & BGP docs and can't find any equivalent - can someone help out ??

Many Thanks!!

Take a look at the condition statement:

http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/junos9.5/information-products/topic-collections/config-guide-policy/policy-configuring-routing-policy-match-conditions-based-on-routing-table-entries.html

I suspect you could probably do something like this on the secondary router:

policy-statement only-send-if-not-there {

    term block {

        from {

            route-filter <your-network>;

            condition if-route-exists <primary-isp-route> table inet.0;

        }

        then {

            reject;

        }

    }

    term allow {

        from {

            route-filter <your-network>;

        }

        then {

            accept;

        }

    }

}
