  • 1.  mlppp, lsq, E1, bundle issue between two acx1000 routers

    Hi,

I have setup that includes two E1 links between two acx1000 routers. What I want to do is to bundle these links. I've been struggling with this for few days now and I have tried many variations of different configurations. Configuration below is the simplest I have tried.

Since I have tried many other variations I thought it might be better to start from configuration like this.

Firstly I saw that the interfaces were showing as ct1 on both routers so i switched them to ce1 with:

[edit chassis fpc 0 pic 0]
    set framing e1

    Configurations now:

    Spoiler
    #R1 lsq
    set interfaces lsq-0/0/0 unit 0 encapsulation multilink-ppp
set interfaces lsq-0/0/0 unit 0 family inet address 192.168.0.1/24

    #R2 lsq
    set interfaces lsq-0/0/0 unit 0 encapsulation multilink-ppp
set interfaces lsq-0/0/0 unit 0 family inet address 192.168.0.2/24

    #R1 and R2 E1 and bundle configuration
    set interfaces ce1-0/0/0 no-partition interface-type e1
    set interfaces ce1-0/0/1 no-partition interface-type e1

set interfaces e1-0/0/0 unit 0 family mlppp bundle lsq-0/0/0.0
set interfaces e1-0/0/1 unit 0 family mlppp bundle lsq-0/0/0.0

Have i missed something really obvious? I'm out of ideas, any help is welcome!

Let me know if additional info is needed.

    Hello,

MLPPP support on ACX is a roadmap intem and is not supported in JUNOS 12.3X52.

Please contact Your Juniper account team for planned release of MLPPP support on ACX.

    Thanks

    Alex

    Hello,

MLPPP work on ACX1000 with JUNOS 12.3X54, see bellow ( in my laboratory):

    root@ACX1000> show interfaces terse
Interface Admin Link Proto Local Remote
    ce1-0/0/0 up up
    e1-0/0/0 up up
    e1-0/0/0.0 up up mlppp lsq-0/0/0.0
    lsq-0/0/0 up up
    lsq-0/0/0.0 up up inet 192.168.0.2/24
    ce1-0/0/1 up up
    e1-0/0/1 up up
    e1-0/0/1.0 up up mlppp lsq-0/0/0.0

    Settings the same as albbis
