  • 1.  nssa area-range abr not generating lsa

    Hi,

    I  have two abr's with same ospf configuration, both receive the individual /24's that they should be summarizing into a /20 however R3 does not generate an lsa for the summarized range. R4 does.

     

    Topology and output attached.

     

    Anybody got any suggestions?

    That is intended behaviour in OSPF

     

    If bit P = 1, then the NSSA ABR must translate this type 7 LSA into a type 5 LSA

    If there are multiple NSSA ABRs, the one with highest router ID.
