3G router for Europe

Dear All,

Would you please help with the following - which is the Juniper router or firewall who is capable of 3G backup if deployed in Europe?

Is there an official statement from Juniper that the 3G bridge or 3G card are compatible with European 3G cellular networks?

Thanks in advance,

Longman

The Juniper SRX210 and SRX220 both have the ability to support 3G cards in the device itself. You might want to make sure that the card that you are using is supported. They support both CDMA and GSM based cards.

Here is the quick start guide for the SRX210 and the 3G configuration.

Here is the AppNote for configuring the 3G as well. It has some card support information in this as well.

One last items as well.  The Juniper CX111 can also provide 3G capability to some of the other Juniper platforms as well.  You will need to consult their datasheets to see if it supports the CX111.

Hope this helps out.
