  • 1.  About "set chassis cluster reth-count X" on SRX210 Cluster

    Hi All,

Actually the cluster has been set like this: set chassis cluster reth-count 2, what would happen if I just increase it to 10? Will it affect the existing client which is located in reth0 and reth1 when I commit the change?

    Thanks a lot~Smiley Embarassed

    Hi ,

For SRX210, the maximum no. of reth interfaces that can be configured is only 8 .  (you can verify this by giving a question-mark after "set chassis cluster reth-count ? "  which is also mentioned in the documentation .

    http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/junos12.1/information-products/topic-collections/security/software-all/security/index.html?topic-43683.html

Note that the number of redundant Ethernet interfaces configured determines the number of redundancy groups that can be configured ( redundancy group number can not exceed reth count )  and changing the reth-count to a different value should not affect existing reth interfaces.
