The new firmware is 341MB in size (over 100MB larger then RC2 was), and the onboard /cf/ of a dual-partitioned SRX-240H is only 342.   It doesn't seem possible to remove enough from /cf/ to do an upgrade without a USB key... and the device is in a remote data center in another city

request system storage cleanup still leaves 42MB of data on /cf/... 41MB too much.

I upgraded from the 10.0 that shipped with it, to 10.4RC2, and now can't upgrade again.

Thinking of rolling back and trying to go from 10.0 to RC3 directly, or shipping a USB key to the data center =/

    Hello,

I assume you are talking about JUNOS 10.4R3.4 for branch SRX.

There is no 10.4RC3 JUNOS software in existence.

The software posted on https://download.juniper.net/software/junos/10.4R3.4/junos-srxsme-10.4R3.4-domestic.tgz is only 220,501,214 bytes in size.

Perhaps you have downloaded JUNOS 10.4R3.4 for M/T/MX series which is 356,069,136 bytes in size (347,723KB or 339MB).

Please always download the corect JUNOS software package for Your platform from official Juniper Networks website.

    HTH

    Regards

    Alex
