Hi Raheel,
This was working with the JUNOS 10.0R2.10
With the upgrade to 10.1R1.8 this doesn't work anymore ![]()

That would be a downgrade, not an upgrade ![]()
Were you having issues in R2.10 that required the downgrade?

I will check local bug-database, if there is any known issue already, however if it is working with 10.0R2.10 then it should be ok?
any specific reason of downgrading version?
thanks

Going from JunOS 10.0.x to 10.1.x is not an upgrade ? ![]()

Hi Raheel,
I was browsing the forums, and found this topic, and I'm faced with this same scenario. I upgraded the SRX-210 to Junos 10.1R1.8 and I'm not able to configure the same chap username as before. The software is not accepting the username, and the pppoe interface is not coming up. Can you please advise if you have a solution to this problem. Thanks.
