Comparision between Juniper SRX and Juniper Netscreen Firewall

Hi,

 

I am looking for some sort of comparion between Juniper SRX and Juniper Netscreen Firewall based on performance, differences, configuration option and anything else if anyone want to share their experience with Juniper SRX. Comment on all aspect of Juniper SRX are more then welcome.

Hi,

 

The link below should do the trick.  If you're looking for the condensed verison, see below.  In my opinion, the SRX is the way to go, especially if you're already familiar with JUNOS or are interested in the training.  The latest version of the NSM supports the SRX as well, so that makes them very attractive.  I completed some SRX training recently and have an eval on the way.  Good luck.

 

ISG 2000:

  • FW = 4Gb
  • 2Gb 3DES
  • 2 Gb IPS

 

SRX 3600:

  • FW = 30 Gb
  • 10Gb AES
  • 10 Gb IPS
