    Hi All, May I know whether SRX can setup as NTP Server or not ? If Yes can please share the step ? Thanks,

    Hi,

    SRX can be set up as a NTPServer but only when SRX is getting the timing info from another NTPServer .i,e it is acting as a client . Other than this pre-requisite , there is no other configuration required .

    Hi Pradeep,

     

    After I configure the SRX as the NTP client from other NTP server, is the SRX will be automatic become the NTP server form my LAN equipment ?

    Yes, you just need to configure your Lan clients to point towards SRX for fetching timing information.

    Works OK for me. You will need to set host-inbound-traffic system-services ntp for the interface or zone which is facing the client system though.

    I have only ping, snmp, netconf on this interface.
    But NTP service is working fine
