I have created a recovery image from an SRX210 onto USB using:

request system snapshot media usb partition

I then plug the USB into a second SRX210 and run the command:

    request system reboot media usb

Once rebooted I notice that the second SRX is showing the Junos version and configuration of the first - great! How do I now copy the image on the USB to one or both partitions on the SRX? There is of course the option:

    request system snapshot slice alternate

that will copy one partition to antother but I can not seem to find anything that copies from the USB to one of the partitions on the SRX.

    Hi Ragalis,

After the system boots up from the USB, restore the snapshot to the node's internal storage:

Execute the request system snapshot media internal partition command.

After the snapshot completes, reboot the system from the internal storage:

Execute the request system reboot media internal command, to boot the system up from the internal flash.

After the system returns completely online, remove the USB memory stick.
