Supported in 10.4 as far as I can see. Go take a look at release notes. You have local IP address management w/ xauth now, and you can use local users for the actual auth portion.

Why replace a perfectly good SSG, though? Which SRX feature are you after?

Just to confirm, this is supported with 10.4.  

There is also an updated Tech Note for configuring Dynamic VPN with 10.4 and higher.

I have tested it in the live enviroment and it works without any problem...even pushes DNS into the box.

No special feature, I just wanted to move into the brave new world, and needed xauth to support my Avaya VPN IP phones.

Could you please share your settings both in the phone and in the SRX.  i am eager to try this as well.  have them working on SSG products but have been waiting for this.
