  • 1.  Hairpinning NAT on SRX

    Can someone give a real world example on how to setup hairpinning NAT on an SRX 240? The security configuration guide does not do a good job. I have a mail server that is setup as mail.domain.com which is statically NATed to the inside host. How do I configure the SRX so inside users can just use the address mail.domain.com to access the mail server?

    Enabling the DNS ALG should take care of this for you automagicly.

    the link above from Visitor seems to work great. are you saying that if I enable ALG DNS, hairpinning works automatically without setting up source NAT and Pools?
