    The attached pdf explains how to do offline IDP signature update

    It can help when your SRX cannot connect to the internet for some reason

    Update offline is only suitable with a small number of SRXs.

     

    does anyone test updates SRX IPS(or SSG Deep inspection) signature via proxy ?  This is so valuable with a big number of SRXs, Which can not connect to the Internet to update IPS signature.

    I see everyone has just asked the question...but no one said if they have tried and what are the resuls...
