SRX

Hi, everyone

By GUI. I configured NSM server ip address in ISG2000.

But how can i do configure NSM server ip address in SRX (cli and/or gui)?

let me know if anyone have the solution.

Hi Jeff,

on our SRX I registered the SRX as "Device is not rechable" - after entering the Informations you got a result page with some syntax strings which you have to enter in the CLI on the SRX. After the commit the SRX connect to the NSM.

For a working, bidirectional connection from your SRX to NSM you must add the following statement to your SRX configuration first.

set system services netconf ssh

After that, the easiest way to add an existing device to NSM is the "device is reachable" workflow from the NSM GUI.

NSM then establishes once a ssh connection to your SRX  and adds itself to the configuration.

i do have the same issue even i set ssh version 2 in my srx, but NSM still got problem when i try to put SRX in

1. Device Server Down

2. Network Connection Down

3. Wrong Device Ip address

4. Device interface not management

5. Device SSH off or Wrong SSH Version

all above suspect problem is OK in my enviroment, but how comes still cannot

NSM version : 2010.4

SRX version : 10.2r3.10
