  • 1.  IPsec predefined proposal sets

    When choosing standard, compatible or basic for IKE or SA, does the other side -- in this case a Cisco Pix -- have to have 1 or all the proposals in these sets? Standard and basic have 2 and compatible has 4.

    Thy have to have one (or more) that match. That is all.

    Thanks 🙂 I was reading about it. But never did a vpn to another device where they don't have the standard/compatible/basic setup, always have to build your own proposals.
