SRX

Hello,

I have a question about J-web on the SRX series. If i reset my SRX100 to factory defaults and I configure it with the webgui configuration wizard everything is fine and I am able to use J-web afterwards.

Now if I reset the router and load a template with a standard configuration in the CLI and I go to the webgui it will again come with the configuration wizard. Again I press next a few times because the configuration is already correct. and after the commit I try to log back in the webgui and the process starts all over again. It simply comes back with the configuration wizard, over and over again.

Does anyone know how to bypass this or even disable the wizard?

There's a stanza in the factory default config that reads (if I remember correctly) 'delete-upon-commit'. In that stanza is the bit that calls the startup wizard. When you reset to factory defaults, you can either go into the CLI and delete that stanza and commit or you can set an admin password and do a commit; either should disable the wizard.
