    I am running a srx240H as an Internet gateway/firewall & VPN concentrator. I'm currently running JUNOS 10.1R3.7 and am being told by my VPN vendor (NCP) that problems we are experiencing with their software is probably firmware related. I was burned by JUNOS versions before and don't quite understand the roadmap here. Should I upgrade to 10.1R4.4 or something in the 10.2 or 10.3 line?  I am not currently using any additional features like IDP but will probably in the future and do not want to handcuff myself here.

    This post may help you better understand the JUNOS release cycle.  In addition, the current recommended release is 10.2R3 and several people here have had good luck with it.  If you're hesitant I'd recommend contacting JTAC as they can help you determine if what you're experiencing is a bug, and if so, if/when it has been fixed.

    The Current Recommended Version for SRX is 10.2R3.10
