I have tried a few time to upgrade a SRX320 with an newer release and even with the same release, but every time I get the same response:
root@lab-01> ...copy junos-srxsme-15.1X49-D45-domestic.tgz
ERROR: Cannot use /cf/var/tmp/junos-srxsme-15.1X49-D45-domestic.tgz:
sed: /tmp/.te1884: No such file or directory
ERROR: It may have been corrupted during download.
ERROR: Please try again, making sure to use a binary transfer.
I am downloading from the Junos download page, copying to usb, copying from USB to /var/tmp and using the usual
' request system software add no-validate no-copy junos-srxsme-15.1X49-D45-domestic.tgz'
command.
I have upgraded hundreds of routers over the years and not had this problem before. Has something changed with the procedure for the SRX300 series? If it has, I do not seem to be able to find anything documented. 😞
