    Gr8 KB, loads of good stuff there.

    These might be usefull as well,

    get service  =  show configuration groups junos-defaults applications

    get tech  =  request support information

    set console page 0  =  set cli screen-length 0

    And I think ( but I don't know for sure)

    get alg = show configuration groups applications security alg

     (doesn't error on my machine but doesn't show anything either)

    Thanks buddy, can you help me with restricting the firewall access from specific IP.

    ssh , telnet and web is enabled on external IP as well, how do we restrict it to specific IP only.

    What version of Junos are you running? Usually the services are bounded to the zone...so just disable the host inbound traffic on the untrust zone.

    [edit security zones security-zone *** ]

    delete host-inbound-traffic system-services

    For the factory reset, the commit will fail if the root user password is not set. The sequence of steps will be

    load factory-default

    set system root-authentication plain-text-passsword

    commit

    Try our new servers;

    http://kb-beta.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB14000&smlogin=true

    that "can't load" problem is why we have the new ones coming online (hopefully in full production next week)
