Hi,
I've tried to power off my SRX 3600 and below is the output that I've received from the firewall :
System going down IMMEDIATELY
root@Celcom> Terminated
Waiting (max 60 seconds) for system process `vnlru' to stop...done
Waiting (max 60 seconds) for system process `vnlru_mem' to stop...done
Waiting (max 60 seconds) for system process `bufdaemon' to stop...done
Waiting (max 60 seconds) for system process `syncer' to stop...

syncing disks... All buffers synced.
Uptime: 10m13s
recorded reboot as normal shutdown
The operating system has halted.
Please press any key to reboot.
The message just stops here....Can I force shutdown by holding the power button for 15 seconds or is there any other way to shut it down completely?
The software version running on my platform is v11.2R3.3. The command that I use is 'request system power-off'
At that point, I can still hear the system running. I just want to make sure that i shut it down in the right way so that none of the internal files will be corrupted, thanks.
Regards,
Daniel

Hello, the system will not power off in that sense. If you see: system halted everything is synced and ready for you to plug the powercord or press the power switch.
