  • 1.  Recommended Release for 1400 Cluster - Juniper has none

    Hi All,

I have a 1400 Cluster and would like to know what the recommended release is.  The juniper release page does have have this info, it just has a * that says if you have a cluster you need 11.1 or higher.....thx for that Juniper.

I have read ALOT of isues on the forums about 11.1 and 11.2 is low on revisions.  Does anyone have a recommendation as to where is a safe step.  I Guess the only options are 11.1R4 or 11.2R2

    Thanks,

Rock and a hard place. I'd go with 11.2r2, based on two criteria:

    - It's on the train that has been identified as the next go-to release after 10.4r6/7, see the JunOS Rising content

    - It's newer than 11.1r4, but not so new as to be untested in the field

You have SRX1400 today, so you really can't wait. But do monitor the 11.2 train, talk to your SEs, and see when it is deemed "stable enough to be recommended over 10.4r6/7".
