  • 1.  SRX 100b Security Zones

    Hello,

     

    Can someone please confirm for me the maximum number of security zones configurable for the SRX 100b?

     

    From the config I can see 10 is the current max on my device, can this be augmented via a different license, or is bound to the platform?

    Zones Capacity Config :
    Max Security Zones = 10

    This maximum is platform bound. See http://www.juniper.net/us/en/local/pdf/datasheets/1000281-en.pdf voor all limits. Having said that: 10 zones is ok normaly. You can terminate networks in the same zone and set policies from and to that zone. Just look at a logical grouping of your connection to the srx and place all more or less connections with the same security requrement in the same zone.
