  • 1.  SRX 1400 - VRF not supported routing-instance?

    Hi Expert...

     

    Basically, I am new to juniper and need some help...

     

    Model: srx1400
    JUNOS Software Release [11.1R4.4]

     

    Question:

     

    I am trying to configure VRF under routing instance but it says 

     

    I am unable to get any options "set routing-instances xyz instance-type" 

     

    And If I type vrf then this message appears as below:

     

     

    ##
    ## Warning: statement ignored: unsupported platform (srx1400)
    ##

     

    Please advice, is there any other way to doing this or this is not supported.

     

    Please reply ASAP would be highly appericated as I bit stuck..

    Hello,

    Layer 3 MPLS VPN (VRFs) are not supported on SRX1400

    If you are looking for Cisco "VRF-Lite" equivalent, use "instance-type virtual-router".
