  • 1.  SRX 3400 Point to point ping issue

    Hi 

    I want to ping SRX3400 via with MX480 point to point , but it dosent happened . 

     

    i simply give 2.1.1.1/30 to ge-0/0/2 to  MX 480 and on SRX ge-0/0/4    2.1.1.2/30 .

     

    please advise me if any settings on SRX , regarding zones , security , in bound traffic .

     

    please note its a new firewall .

    Hello ,

     

    Just create a security zone and put that interface into the security zone and allow host inbound traffic ping .

     

    # set security zone security-zone  <zone-name >  interface ge-0/0/2.0 host-inbound-traffic system services all
