  • 1.  SRX 5600 RED & WARNING lights glowing steadily.

    Hi,

     

    I am unable to understand when I switched on the gateway the LED's are glowing steadily and as per installation guide the LED's glows when the cards are mounted incorrectly.

     

    But the cards are mounted properly. And when I logged in as root user I can access it and also I have upgraded my gateway without any problem.

     

    Please help me to know, what is the reason for the LED's glow.

    If you run this command it should tell you why the lights are red.

     

    show chassis alarms

    Hello Mr. Feroz,

    Please check alarms by
    >show chassis alarms

    This will give you the clear picture of alarm.

    Most probably you will get alarm as :-

    fxp0 : Ethernet Link Down,
    This alarm is generated because of you did not connected any system to management interface, don't worry this will not impact your production and this alarm can be ignored by

    # set chassis alarms management-Ethernet link-down ignore
