  • 1.  SRX 650 : PEM 1 Absent

    I have two SRX 650 firewalls working in cluster . On viewing show system alarms , node 0 is showing minor alarm of PEM 1 absent . 

     

    What may be the cause and how to rectify it? Please suggest solution

    Hi,

     

    The PEM is a power supply, so either your PEM has stopped working or the power feed to it has failed

    SRX650 is equipped with one power supply (i.e. PEM0), however, we have an option of adding additional PSU at PEM1 slot ...

    "PEM Absent" are minor alarms indicating no second PSU is installed. "PEM Not Ok" are major as indicate failure of an installed PSU.
