  • 1.  SRX - GRE tunnel not showing up correctly

    Hi,

    I have 3 SRX 240 (10.4.R6.5). However, on two of my SRXs the GRE tunnel is not showing up properly when I perform 'show interface terse'.

     

    Issue :

    Test1 has 2 GRE tunnels but when I do my show interface terse, only one of them shows up i.e. gr/0/0/0. gr-0/0/1 does not show up at all. gr-0/0/1 tunnel is connected to Test2 SRX

     

    Test2 has 1 GRE tunnel but when I do my show interface terse, the tunnel comes up but does not show the Virtual IP (Inet LOCAL address of the GRE)

     

    Just wondering if anyone has encountered this before. Please let me know if you are aware of any likely reason as to why this would be happening.

    Hi,

     

    I'm afraid you can't configure gr-0/0/1 and so on.. there is only 1 gre interface which is gr-0/0/0 and what you can do if you have more than one gre interface is simply add another unit, example:

     

    set interface gr-0/0/0 unit 0

    set interface gr-0/0/0 unit 1 and son on....
