SRX IDP logs to the NSM???

Hi

I am crossing my fingures   SRX made me crazy. Could any body tell me what settings I need on SRX to send the IDP logs to the NSM?? I am using SRX-650.

http://kb.juniper.net/KB16448 for all of the default logs, however NSM logging is risky on an SRX since it has to log locally then feed the log to NSM.. This can result in local storage filling and crashing the SRX.

You are better off streaming the logs to a syslog server... The commands should be in your admin / cli manual

Curious as I'm about to be in this same situation, I got the NSM, and have not set it up yet so I have not played with it... But, if I dump logs to a syslog server is it possible to then forward those logs from the syslog server to the NSM?

You can't forward syslogs from an external syslog server to NSM.
