  • 1.  SRX Package does not support in-service-upgrade

    Hello all,

     

    Trying to do a in service upgrade on a SRX 210HE cluster. Getting the warnig message: Package does not support in-service-upgrade.

    Upgrading from 12.1X44-D20.3 (BIOS 2.0) using package junos-srxsme-12.1X44-D40.2-domestic.tgz using command:

    request system software in-service-upgrade /var/tmp/junos-srxsme-12.1X44-D40.2-domestic.tgz no-sync

     

    What am i doing wrong?

    Hi Erwin,

     

    I had a similar issue earlier while doing the same upgrade.

     

    it failed due to issue with downloaded Junos image.

     

    Try to download the same Junos image again from juniper website and try upgrade using the same command .

    Hello rparthi,

     

    That was the solution, thx for it. To bad the upgrade itself failed with a validation error :-(. But that is something we can work on.
