    Dears ,

     

         Is it possible on SRX5k to reserve some SPCs for IPSEC  only or to reserve some SPCs to be used by a specific LSYS only ?

    Hello kayssar ,

     

    We cannot reserve SPC's for IPSEC ( Anchoring SPU's )  , its based on the hash calculation which will be decided buy the Junos.

     

    Also In LSYS we can specify only the resources , that need to be allocate like session count , NAT , policy . We cannot allocate HW resources to particular LSYS as per current design .

         What is the IPSEC impact on SPC performance ? as i know it decrease by half  right ? that is why i want to reserve only some SPCs for IPSEC.

    Hello ,

     

    For that we need to know which is the SRX platform . Also if you can check the SRX datasheet accordingly , it will give you the IPSEC performance on platform basis .
